The snob burger may be one of the fastest-growing trends in the culinary world. In the few years since I gave a rave review to Hubert Keller’s groundbreaking Burger Bar, I’ve eaten and written about more gourmet hamburgers than I care to recall. Personally, I can’t understand why people love going to a “nice” restaurant to eat something they could easily prepare at home.
